OrthoPilot® - patient specific since 1997

The OrthoPilot® navigation system is a tool for the execution of surgical interventions, especially in Knee and Hip Arthroplasty. The essential criterion in the development of the OrthoPilot® was its integration within the surgical workflow by limiting extension of operating time. In parallel, minimizing the strain on the patient caused by the navigation procedures was a central issue. In Total Knee and Hip Arthroplasty OrthoPilot® was developed to achieve the main surgical goal of implant alignment without having to perform preoperational radiation-intensive and expensive CT or MRI scans
